Subsurface Safety Valves

Subsurface safety valves (SSVs) are critical components of well completions, managing uncontrolled flow in case of catastrophic damage to wellhead equipment.

Optimize your SSV with designs and materials for reliable, long-term application in your well, with leakage-acceptance criteria substantially more stringent than API and ISO specifications. Our API Spec 14A certified valves, ranging from V4-1 to V1-H, cover the full range of tubing sizes, with corrosion-resistant metallurgies to suit most requirements.

Additional features of surface-controlled SSVs (SCSSVs) include a rod piston hydraulic-actuation system, metal-to-metal INCONEL flapper closure system with secondary soft seat, and inverted dual-ferrule hydraulic connection.
